Q. How do I know my silk is hand-batik?
A. You will know your silk is hand-batik by closely inspecting the print on the fabric. You will notice it is not exactly the same all over. This is because it has been hand stamped using a traditional Balinese batik method. There may also be small traces of the wax which will wash or iron off using a warm iron. These characteristics make your garment authentic and even more unique!
Q. Do you make to order?
A. We may be able to custom make something for you. Depending on the size and complexity of the garment and fabric available. Turnaround using existing fabric is approx 4-6 weeks. Email your request to: info@etceterawoman.com.au
Q. How do I care for my silk batik garment?
A. To ensure the life and shape of your beautiful silk garment we recommend either specialist dry-cleaning, or hand-wash in cold water using a wool or silk wash, line dry in shade and warm iron (using the silk setting).
